Eman Mohammed |1987 , Born in Palestine

Eman Mohammed, a Palestinian photojournalist and reporter, is based in the Gaza strip. She has had the opportunity to cover events in this zone, and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, since 2006. The main body of her work has focused on the bombing of Gaza in 2008-2009 and the destruction perpetrated by Israeli shelling of the territory and the subsequent invasions. During the war, Eman Mohammed worked on several photo stories on atrocities against the Palestinian population.

Eman Mohammed received a special mention from the judges of the Carmignac Gestion Photojournalism Award in 2010.

Her photographs have been published in several magazines and newspapers including The Guardian, The Washington post, Mother JonesLe Monde, Geo International and Haaretz. She also regularly participates in exhibitions.
