Philippe Pasqua |1965 , Born in Grasse, France

Self-taught, Philippe Pasqua began painting in 1985 using materials that he found in the street, such as building paint. He began to exhibit his work, monumental in scale and descriptive, during the 1990s. Ten years later, he designed The Storage, a space dedicated to individual and collective artistic experimentation. Rather like a laboratory or museum space, each artist was able to use it to develop their ideas, and make and exhibit their work.

The canvases of Philippe Pasqua, who lives and works in Paris, are of faces and bodies, entirely nude and exposing not just the flesh, but also the emotions.
